Chuck Bonsteel

Artist Statement
My current work comes out of the experience of observing crows, owls, eagles and ravens. Watching, wondering, listening, engaging in conversation, trying to see the world through their eyes helps me to feel a greater sense of connection, and peace. Sculpting and then raku firing them has become a kind of ceremony, an offering of gratitude for their healing presence in my life.
