Artist Statement
My photography is autobiographical; I find it to be insightful, though perhaps an unwieldy tool for self-examination. Capturing the essence of my subject is my prime intent, however my most successful images are those which also communicate an otherwise undescribable sense of affinity shared with the subject.

Terry is a landscape and nature photographer who for 40 years has captured images for publication. His more recent images, while still engaging with the landscape, are inspired by the people he meets, their cultural artifacts and the environment they inhabit.
