Tory Grove

Artist Statement
In 2015, I fell in love with the texture of clay between my fingers and fused my passion for abstract painting and multimedia with my newfound fervor of hand building. Having been a Juvenile Probation Officer for Los Angeles County for 30 plus years I found my pottery a natural avenue to share how I see and experience tension, beauty, struggle and celebration in all of us. The greatest gift we can give one another is to listen and truly see each others uniqueness. Hence, each of my pieces are one of a kind.
