Deborah Taylor

Artist Statement

My prints are portraits of the natural worldbirds, flowers, sea and land life, and the patterns that surround and run through them. The circles and lines of the octopus, the feathers of a bird, the petals of a flower, and the ripples and waves in the water that surround the island where I live reveal patterns everywhere, and I believe this repetition of form contributes to the serenity that surrounds us when we look up and around.
