Artist Statement
I am fortunate to have explored many cultures, human experiences and wild places through work and travel � often with a backpack! My images emerge from my sense of awe � often serendipitously, and often simply through quiet observation.
I hope to inspire others to share these discoveries and find their own wonders.

Artist Bio
Kim is a photographer in love with the world. Exposed to art and photography at a young age, she spent hours looking through her grandparents� National Geographic magazines. Her first �real� camera arrived days prior to a solo European cycling trip. While bicycling, she imagined how the magazine�s photographers might create a narrative. Since, she has developed her own visual sense, shaped also by her work in music and medicine, and guidance from Vashon�s experienced photographers.
Kim�s photographs have been published by Nature�s Best and British Heritage magazines, and shown in Puget Sound galleries.
